Restorative Yoga Workshop + brunch and Thai Massage.
In Fernán Pérez. Cabo de Gata-Níjar
Saturday, September 26
from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
With Ana García (Yoga) · Lucía Alcaraz (Thai massage)
In the workshop, through Restorative Yoga, we will release deep tension. First, we will create inner space in our bodies and calm the mind through rest, self-observation, and conscious breathing. Then we will expand that space and share with others through conscious touch and assisted Thai massage stretches.
Where?
15 minutes from Las Negras and 5 minutes from Fernán Pérez, in the heart of Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park.
In a country house surrounded by nature, with a Yoga room prepared for practice.

Restorative Yoga session
The essence of Restorative Yoga is not to stretch, but to create space. The effect of the postures on the nervous system is a feeling of comfort and stability. In this Restorative Yoga workshop, we will give the parasympathetic nervous system center stage, finding a place of harmony, introspection, and rest. Connecting with our inner stillness and giving ourselves the space to simply be.
This practice seeks to restore the body and energy, prioritizing restoration over intensity. Movements are slower and more deliberate, and the relaxation period is increased. Comfortable postures are performed using bolsters, blankets, blocks, straps, walls, chairs… Breathing slows down, the pulse and mind decelerate, allowing the nervous system to rest and achieving a deep relaxation that will help us recharge our energy.
