During pregnancy, a woman goes through an incredible transformation, experiencing many changes physically, emotionally and mentally.

The practice of Yoga allows a woman to connect more deeply with herself and her baby, creating a more conscious bond.

The body awareness achieved through the practice of Yoga helps identify muscles that work during labour and tone the muscles involved in supporting the baby’s weight, opening the hips and strengthening the legs.

The practice of Yoga relieves possible discomforts that a woman experiences because her body is changing to accommodate her baby. Through breathing and meditation techniques, it achieves calming effects on the nervous system and mind, freeing it from anxious thoughts.

It is recommended to begin the practice of Hatha Yoga from week 12 of pregnancy.

Post-natal Yoga Classes

The practice of yoga during this period helps with the recovery and strengthening of the mother’s body
after childbirth (back, abdomen, pelvic floor…). It calms mental, emotional and physiological stress.
